Tracy serves as the Policy and Communications Officer at AkiDwA, where she plays a central role in shaping policy development and driving communication strategies that advance the rights and integration of migrant women in Ireland. She also manages the organisation’s mentorship programme for women, fostering professional growth, empowerment, and leadership among participants.
She holds a Master’s in Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland, a CIPD-accredited programme, and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Leadership (Human Resource Management) from the Management University of Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. She is also pursuing her certification as a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) in Nairobi, Kenya.
With over a decade of experience spanning human resources, administration, and programme management, Tracy has contributed her expertise to international NGOs, private corporations, and community organisations. Her professional journey reflects a steadfast commitment to building inclusive systems, advancing organisational effectiveness, and breaking down barriers for underrepresented groups.
She is a member of the member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPD), the Institute of Human Resource Management in Kenya (IHRM) and the Irish Red Cross, reflecting her dedication to both professional excellence and community service.
In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, though she often jokes that her body is not quite as flexible as her passion for it
